An unconventional ski film that combines mythic storytelling to produce a meaningful and memorable film experience.

The Edge of Never is a real-life coming-of-age saga about the tribe of skiers who challenge the biggest, most dangerous mountains in the world. In 1996 Whistler extreme-skiing legend Trevor Petersen, was killed skiing the Exit Couloir on the Aiguille du Midi in Chamonix, France. Nine years later, skiing icon Glen Plake, the ski world’s most famous bad-boy rebel and one of Trevors best friends, decides its time for Trevors 15-year-old son, Kye, who has grown up under heavy expectations, to ski the route that took his fathers life and join the tribe of big-mountain skiers. In this thrilling film, three generations of skiers mentor Kye as he attempts to finish his fathers final run.

Ex-pro skier and Director Bill Kerig questions what makes life in the mountains so appealing in this film based on his book. A ripping adventure tale, The Edge of Never is also a rich and subtle portrait of men and women who live big in the face of their greatest fears. Its a story of family; of life and death; of searching for what counts in life; of fulfilling your dreams.
